I have been making and selling 100’s of magnetic Everhot lid covers since 2017 after we had our first Everhot delivered. My priorities were durable, shrink resistant fabrics to complement kitchen decor, perfect fit and strong magnets designed to give maximum ‘pull’ and able to withstand the heat of the lid. 


At Bees Little Shop fabrics are pre-washed to reduce shrinkage and the magnets are removable for washing or replacement when necessary and full care instructions are supplied with every order.


But that’s not the end of the story! Following several requests I now make and sell Aga hob covers. As with the Everhot lid covers, I wash and pre-shrink fabrics to minimise shrinkage and the Aga hob covers have a layer of Insul-Bright in the middle to save energy and keep the heat where you need it – in the hotplate. The top layer has a quality cotton top and the bottom layer is of traditional cream ‘Aga’ towelling.

  • How long has Bees Little Shop been manufacturing Everhot Magnetic Lid Covers?

  • What makes Bees Little Shop’s Everhot Magnetic Lid Covers so special?

    Unlike some other manufacturers, we place 4, removable magnets in each cover to keep it firmly positioned on the Everhot Lid. Our magnets can be removed for washing and are easily replaced if they lose their strength after a period of time.

  • Do I get two covers for my 120i?

    Yes, all sizes of Everhot get two covers, except the 60 model which has a single cover.

  • What is the difference between the Original and Designer fabrics?

    The only difference is the price; ‘designer’ fabrics cost more to buy. The quality is the same; you are paying more for the designer name.

  • Is there a layer of insulation (Insulbrite) included in the covers?

    No, insulation is not recommended for use in Everhot lid covers. Everhot lids are already well insulated and heat should be allowed to rise through the lids.

  • Are the covers washable?

    Yes, if washed in accordance with the care leaflet provided, they will wash and wear for a long time.

  • Do the magnets last forever?

    Magnets don’t have an indefinite lifespan, it depends upon use. Factors such as hotplate temperature will affect their longevity and they are very fragile so may break if dropped. Expect a magnet to last anything from a few months to a couple of years plus. 

  • If I order the wrong size can I return the covers or exchange them?

    Unfortunately no. All covers are made individually to order so cannot be returned. They are bespoke so there is nothing to exchange them with. If you don’t know which model Everhot you have, please check with Everhot before ordering.

  • Would you make covers in my own fabric?

    With pleasure. Your fabric should be 100% curtain weight cotton and compatible with

    other layers used. Just contact us for details. 


  • Can you make covers for other range cookers?

    Yes, where this is feasible we are happy to quote for other makes of range cooker.
